About Sri

I'm a senior at Virginia Tech majoring in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics with a minor in Computer Science, graduating this May. My coursework spans Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Discrete Math, and Data Analytics, and I apply these skills daily through research and data science projects, so I bring real world context to every concept we cover.

I know firsthand what it feels like to need extra help in math. My own journey through higher level courses taught me that a shaky foundation can make everything harder and that going back to strengthen the basics is never something to be ashamed of. In fact, it's often the smartest move you can make. That experience is what makes me a more empathetic and effective tutor.

I'm friendly, patient, and genuinely love working with students who want to improve. I understand that learning isn't linear. Some concepts click right away, others take more time, and that's completely okay. There's no judgment here, just a shared goal of helping you grow and feel more confident in math.
Whether you're building back up from the fundamentals or pushing through a tough high school course, I'm here to meet you exactly where you are.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around what you're already learning in school — because that's what matters most. I work directly alongside your current curriculum in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, or Calculus, so everything we cover is immediately relevant to your class.

What sets my sessions apart is a focus on reasoning out loud. I walk through the why behind every process, verbalizing my thinking so you can follow along and eventually do the same on your own. From there, we reinforce understanding through repetition and critical thinking questions that push you to apply concepts in new ways — not just memorize formulas.

My sessions are great for high school students looking to keep up, catch up, or get ahead. Whatever the goal, we'll work through it together at a pace that works for you.
