About Mila
I am a professional violist, currently a member of the Ensemble Symphonique de Genève and a former academy musician at the Orchester Philharmonique de Radio France. I completed my full training at the CNSMD of Paris (Bachelor with distinction) and am currently pursuing a Master's degree at the HMT Leipzig. I have extensive experience in chamber music and solo repertoire, with several prizes won in competitions in Switzerland. I was also a finalist in the Rubinstein Competition. My academic path at the CNSMDP was marked by distinctions and high honors at the end of my Bachelor's degree. Passionate about contemporary music, I took part in a tour with the Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt as well as a world premiere of a contemporary work, which was recorded and broadcast by France Musique. I also had the opportunity to work in lessons with a member of the Ensemble Intercontemporain in Paris, which further enriched my approach to this repertoire. Outside of music, I practice magic and have created several stage performances, including a solo show. I love this world because it inspires me and allows me to approach art in a different way. I particularly appreciate the diversity of artistic forms. Sport also plays an important role in my life as a musician: practicing boxing has taught me discipline and how to manage the body and energy. We are high-level athletes, and it is essential to take care of our bodies, as our profession is deeply physical. Finally, I place great importance on human connection, mental health, and respecting each student's pace. I am very aware of the demands of a professional musical career and always teach with kindness, without unnecessary pressure, adapting to each individual personality.

My teaching is fully adapted to each student's needs. I can either offer a structured approach with a clear program or a more flexible lesson based on the pieces the student wishes to work on. I am always open to musical suggestions and particularly enjoy working on repertoire chosen by the student. I believe consistency is the key to progress: step-by-step work helps build real musicality and confidence. There is no rigid obligation, but regular practice and lessons are strongly encouraged to ensure steady improvement. I have often helped friends and colleagues prepare for exams and specific musical goals. Having taken part in many competitions myself, I have a clear understanding of what is required and how to prepare effectively. Trained within French musical traditions, I bring an open and varied approach, offering listening and advice that can complement more academic methods. Above all, I aim to share my love of music and support students on their own artistic path :)
