About Sophia
I am an experienced and highly qualified violin, viola and piano teacher based in Walthamstow. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music where I obtained my Masters with Distinction, DipRAM, LRAM. After my masters I trained at the UCL Institute of Education and gained a PGCE with QTS. I currently teach at 3 primary schools and have taught for various music services.

I have experience teaching whole class and individual lessons to a wide range of abilities and ages. Each lesson is differentiated to a pupils needs. My lessons are fun and engaging, but deep rooted in thought out pedagogy. I can also enter pupils for ABRSM exams, all of my past pupils have received a Merit or above. I primarily teach in the Walthamstow Village area but get in touch if you are interested. At present, I can offer lessons after school or at the weekend due to other teaching commitments.
