About Ben
With 11 years of dedicated experience in violin instruction, I provide specialized lessons designed to enhance students' skills in technique, bowing, and sight-reading. My teaching approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of school students, ensuring that each lesson is personalized to help them develop both their technical proficiency and musical expression. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive and build their confidence in playing the violin.
In my lessons, I emphasize the importance of a solid technical foundation while also encouraging students to explore their musical creativity. My goal is to help students not only master the fundamentals of violin playing but also to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for music. By integrating exercises that target specific areas of improvement, I aim to foster both skill development and a love for music, preparing students for various performance opportunities.
Outside of teaching, I have a passion for exploring different musical genres and styles. I enjoy attending live performances, participating in music workshops, and experimenting with new repertoire. Additionally, I am an avid reader and love discovering new books, which often inspire and enrich my teaching. My diverse interests keep me motivated and connected to the broader musical community, enhancing my ability to provide dynamic and engaging lessons for my students.
