I am a teacher with a degree in Music Education with a specialty in Violin. I have a lot of experience working with children ages 4 to older. I am a music therapist with a specialty in Mental Health. I am a native language English and Spanish classes can be in Spanish or English

In private violin classes I usually incorporate methodologies of traditional violin teaching with techniques from Suzuki Violin's school. We work with learning theory and / or music theory to have a more official approach to music and instrument reading. We can include classical, popular, or student-preferred repertoire to create goals related to their musical preference. With children, I usually incorporate a Christmas repertoire as long as it is consistent with the objectives of each student. I have 4/5 years experience with children from 4 years old to older people. Classes can be both in English or Spanish. For more information or CV do not hesitate to contact me.
