About Elma
Have you considered how your violin playing connects to broader musicianship? Through 6 years of experience, I emphasize classical repertoire and rhythm and timing to build core skills. My training began with a focus on violin, yet I integrated strong choral involvement because ensemble musicianship translates naturally between disciplines.
I specialize in shifting positions, orchestral playing, and grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity candidates. My ORFF and Kodály methodology prioritizes left hand agility, ear training, vibrato, posture, and hold. You will find my teaching style is both warm and structured.

By blending the ORFF approach with technical drills for posture and hold, I ensure that your orchestral playing reaches a high standard. We will calibrate our pace to match your agility and ear training needs, allowing the lessons to flow at a pace that feels productive and steady.
