About Serena
"Teaching is how I translate 13 years of performance into something tangible for others. I hold an MMus Music Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. My time spent on stage taught me that music is a craft that requires discipline.
You will find my approach focuses on keeping things practical so progress is clear to hear. I emphasize sight reading plus spiccato and staccato bowing to ensure you build a firm foundation. This ensures we keep our work grounded in solid technical habits."

"Many players hit a wall when their intonation wavers during complex shifts. You deserve to feel confident when the bow touches the string, especially during difficult passages.
Since finishing my degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, I have prioritized structure. I assign weekly practice modules with every class to keep you moving forward steadily.
