About Elora
My fascination with the violin began through its ability to express emotion with extraordinary depth and beauty. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Music before earning a PhD in String Performance Education. Over the last 11 years, I have helped students build confidence and skill through personalized instruction.
I believe successful teaching combines expertise, patience, and adaptability. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the purpose behind every technique while encouraging independent growth. I enjoy supporting learners as they achieve new musical milestones.
Outside teaching, I continue studying violin repertoire, exploring interpretation styles, and attending live performances. These experiences help me bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Helping students discover their musical voice remains one of the most meaningful parts of my career.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop strong technical abilities while building a deeper connection to music. We focus on posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm accuracy, tone quality, and finger coordination through structured practice and carefully selected pieces. Every lesson encourages steady progress and growing confidence.
As students become more experienced, we work on shifting techniques, vibrato development, articulation, sight reading, interpretation, ensemble skills, and performance preparation. Lessons are adapted to individual learning goals, ensuring that every student receives meaningful support. Practical demonstrations and detailed feedback help learners continue improving.
I believe violin study should encourage both discipline and creativity. My goal is to help students become expressive musicians who perform with confidence and understanding. Every lesson supports technical growth, artistic development, and long-term musical achievement.
