About Aimee

I am an attentive, practical and dynamic Veterinary Medicine student with a BSc (Hons) in Bio-veterinary Science with advanced modules in Skeletal Pathology, Locomotion and Biomechanics. Alongside my studies I have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with roles from bar staff and waitress in a private members club to café roles. I have also worked with horses, cows and sheep. I can speak French to level A2-B1 and have recently been learning software development practices out of personal interest. I have been captain of my University Triathlon and Athletics society, and a student representative for the British Equine Veterinary Association. My hobbies and interests include long distance running, triathlon, horse sports, painting and dog sports including canicross and agility with my two dogs Max and Jora.

About the lesson

I bring a wealth of real-world knowledge to our sessions. My approach to tutoring focuses on engaging, applied learning that incorporates personal interests to make the material more relatable and exciting. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor my lessons to suit a variety of learning styles, ensuring each lesson is not only informative but also enjoyable. Whether you're studying GCSE sciences or preparing for A-level biology, my goal is to help you grasp key concepts and develop a deep understanding of the subject matter. I can also advise on the best learning styles for studying between lessons to solidify understanding and make learning manageable and effective.
