I like fun, hands-on learning that includes rhyming, games, and songs to better student learning. These lessons are geared toward prekindergarten students, kindergarteners, and first graders. Phonics repetition is helpful in young learners retaining the knowledge to read.
Typical Lesson-
Warm up with a game! Today's sound is M. Make the /m/ sound. Use a mirror to notice what our mouth and face look like while making the letter sound. Use writing finger to make M in the air and on a whiteboard. Play the game feed my monster M sounds game. Draw and label M words. End with chant. M says /M/
