About Kenny

I enjoy working with students one-on-one and feel comfortable teaching online through a variety of platforms. I have taught math at the high school level for over 30 years. Students find me to be knowledgeable, funny, understanding, and approachable. In my free time, I enjoy my family, my dog and cat, my guitar, and my many bicycles and cross-country skis.

About the lesson

I have taught Advanced Geometry, Advanced Precalc, Trig, Calculus AB, AP Statistics, Algebra 2 at a top public school for 30 years . I also love working on ACT and SAT math Prep questions. I am very familiar with TI-84 calculators, and have an emulator where I could take you through calculator functions. I have an M.A. in Secondary Math Education and am National Board Certified.

Very bright student. Austin picks up on things very quickly and is very inquisitive. We worked through a bunch of challenging problems. There was one we couldn't figure out, but I emailed him the solution.

My daughter is a good student, but she wanted to have some guidance through precalculus as the material can get challenging. Kenny has been amazing, which is not surprising since he has taught the material for many years. He has a great demeanor and is very patient. My daughter is maintaining her strong grade and really grasping the material. I would highly recommend Kenny to any high school student.
