About Anthony

I am a very enthusiastic and experienced tutor with nearly forty years' experience teaching in further and higher education with an excellent record. I have taught A-Level government and politics and history syllabuses for AQA, Edexcel and OCR boards and have administered history coursework for the AQA and OCR. Also I have supervised the EPQ for the OCR board. The government and politics units I teach are: British Politics, US Government and Politics, Global Politics and Political ideologies. I also tutor/teach IGCSE or GCSE topics including Germany 1918-1945; Stalin 1929-1953; the Interwar Years 1918-1939; the Cold War 1945-1972; Britain Power and the People; and Restoration England 1660-1685; For A-Level History I teach: the Tudors; England 1601-1701; British History 1783-1885, 1885-1905, 1906-1951 and 1951-2007; the French Revolution and Napoleonic France; France 1814-1870; Tsarist and Communist Russia 1855-1964; the Soviet Union to Russian Federation 1945-2000; the Peoples Democracies 1945-1991; the Cold War 1947-1991; the Transformation of China 1936-1997; Germany 1800-1870; 1870-1918; Democracy and Nazi Germany 1918-1945; West and East Germany 1945-1990; Italy 1800-1900; the American War of Independence; 1760-1804; the United States 1945-1980; and the British Empire 1700-1914. I have also taught a first year undergraduate international relations course and theories of International Relations course. About the lesson

I teach GCSE and IGCSE History courses on Stalinist Russia, Nazi Germany, the Cold War 1947-1972 and Restoration England 1660-1685. I also teach/tutor A-Level Government and Politics and History. My tutoring and teaching is online, and my students receive my supporting class notes, articles and past exam papers. I include one piece of marked homework in my hourly price which the student emails to me as either scanned or Word document.
