About Poli

With 7 years of teaching experience, I am a guitar tutor who teaches students of all ages, from school and college students to working professionals. My aim is to make learning guitar enjoyable, effective, and creative.

I believe every student is unique, so I personalise lessons to match their goals and pace. I focus on technique, music theory, improvisation, and creative expression. Students can explore classical, rock, jazz, or pop music depending on their interests.

I have taught over 200 students, many of whom have performed in competitions, concerts, and recitals. Some students have pursued music professionally, while others have developed music as a hobby. I use structured exercises, practical examples, and interactive teaching methods to make learning engaging.

I also teach sight-reading, rhythm, and composition, helping students become confident and well-rounded musicians. My approach is patient, supportive, and motivating. Learning guitar with me is a journey of creativity, confidence, and skill that lasts a lifetime.

About the lesson

I follow a teaching methodology based on Compassion, Communication, and Supportiveness, creating lessons that are structured, interactive, and enjoyable for Guitar students. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals to ensure that learning is both effective and motivating.

Communication is central: I explain techniques clearly, demonstrate step by step, and encourage students to ask questions and actively participate. Being supportive, I provide guidance, constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones, helping students overcome challenges with confidence.

Lessons include exercises, songs, and creative projects, while also covering music theory, rhythm, and composition. This methodology nurtures technical skill, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
