About Elisei

I am a High Distinction student at the University of Sydney, studying Advanced Computing. I completed the IBDP with a 95 ATAR and scored 5/5 on the AP Computer Science exam. As a tutor, I try to take as much of the learning burden off you as possible. - I create self-made cheat sheets for the topics we cover - We work through the problems together at the end to make sure you actually understood everything by the end of the lesson - I give you homework to help lock in what you’ve learned and make it stick long-term I work with all ages and make complex topics easy to understand. With 3 years of experience mentoring kids (3D modeling, robotics, visual coding) I’ve learned how to explain things as clearly as possible.

About the lesson

Lesson structure will vary depending on your goal: learning programming, preparing for an exam, etc. Usually, the lesson is 1.5 hours: - First 45 min – Concepts and theory - Last 45 min – Guided practice At the end, I will give you homework, and we will discuss the topic of the next lesson so I can prepare. As a bonus, I prepare self-made cheat sheets to ease your pain in learning coding :) I’m also available outside of lessons for any questions or advice. Lessons are for anyone, from any age up to first-year uni level.
