About Nidhi

Hi, I'm a physician with a passion for teaching and mentoring medical students preparing for the USMLE. Having gone through this process myself, I know how challenging it can be. The exams require much more than knowledge. They demand consistency, discipline, confidence, and the ability to keep going even when progress feels slow. One thing I learned during my own journey is that many students struggle silently with stress, burnout, impostor syndrome, and the constant pressure to perform well. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the amount of material, discouraged by practice scores, or anxious about the future. I understand those feelings, and I believe having the right support system can make a huge difference. My goal as a tutor is not just to teach concepts and review questions. I want to help students build confidence in their abilities, develop effective study habits, and stay motivated throughout the preparation process. I work with each student to identify their strengths, address weaknesses, and create a study approach that is realistic and sustainable. I enjoy helping students simplify difficult topics, improve their clinical reasoning, and approach questions with a clear strategy. Whether you need help with content, accountability, exam strategy, or simply someone who understands the ups and downs of the USMLE journey, I am here to support you every step of the way. Seeing students achieve their goals and gain confidence in themselves is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring, and I look forward to helping you do the same.

About the lesson

Preparing for the USMLE is much more than just studying medicine—it is often an emotionally demanding journey filled with uncertainty, self-doubt, burnout, and pressure. Many students struggle with anxiety about their scores, fear of failure, comparison with peers, and the challenge of balancing exam preparation with personal and professional responsibilities. As an IMG, these challenges can feel even more overwhelming when navigating residency applications, visa concerns, and long periods of preparation.
As a tutor, I understand that success on the USMLE is not only about mastering content but also about maintaining confidence, motivation, and a healthy mindset throughout the process. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where students feel comfortable discussing their academic struggles and concerns. I help students develop realistic study plans, overcome test anxiety, identify inefficient study habits, and build the confidence needed to perform at their best.
I believe every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching approach to each individual's strengths and weaknesses. Whether you are struggling with difficult concepts, feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of material, or simply need guidance and accountability, I am committed to helping you stay focused, motivated, and on track toward your goals. My aim is not only to help you achieve a higher score but also to make the USMLE journey more manageable, sustainable, and less stressful.
