About Zadie

As a DMA-trained singer with over 4 years of teaching experience, I work with adults of all levels who want to explore singing as a joyful and expressive part of life. My lessons are designed to be supportive, mindful, and pressure-free, helping each learner feel comfortable using their voice. I emphasize breath control, vocal ease, posture, and tone quality, always connecting technique with musical feeling. Many of my students sing for community choirs, karaoke nights, or simply for themselves. I love working in Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles, shaping lessons that fit your interests and personality. My teaching helps you reconnect with your creativity and confidence—no matter where you are starting from. Singing is for everyone, and every voice deserves to be heard. About the lesson

In my teaching, singing is about more than hitting notes—it’s about telling a story. I focus on lyric interpretation, emotional connection, and expressing meaning through every performance. Students learn to understand the story behind a song and communicate it naturally. We explore phrasing, dynamics, and vocal color to enhance emotional impact. The Fiddler learns how to integrate instrumental sensitivity into singing. The Music Major strengthens performance skills while maintaining technical accuracy. I provide clear feedback and guidance in a supportive environment. Lessons balance structured exercises with creative exploration. My goal is to help students embody every phrase they sing. You’ll discover how to connect with listeners on a deeper level. Singing becomes an authentic expression of your voice and emotions. Each session encourages growth, confidence, and musical awareness. Together, we turn technique into heartfelt communication.
