About Abhishek
I am a passionate tutor who believes every student learns best when concepts are explained in a simple, practical way. I teach school-level subjects including Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies, and I focus on building strong fundamentals along with improving academic performance. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I use examples from daily life, step-by-step explanations, and regular practice sessions so that students not only score well but also truly understand what they are learning. I adjust my methods according to each student’s pace and level, making learning less stressful and more effective. I aim to guide students towards becoming confident, independent learners who can think critically and apply knowledge beyond exams.

My Teaching Techniques and Methods
I believe learning sticks best when it feels connected to real life. For example, instead of just teaching a math formula, I’d ask students to calculate the discount on their favorite sneakers or figure out how much money they’d save if they skipped one soda a day for a month. For history, I don’t just narrate events—I might compare the freedom struggle with a student protest happening in their own city, so they see the relevance. I also use storytelling, visuals, and short activities to keep the class interactive.
The Usual Structure of a Class
Every class follows a simple flow:
Warm-up/Recap (5–10 minutes): I ask quick questions, like “Who can explain yesterday’s concept in their own words?” This ensures they didn’t just memorize but actually understood.
Core Lesson (25–30 minutes): I introduce the new concept with a mix of examples, real-life scenarios, and visuals. For instance, while teaching probability, we might actually toss coins or draw cards to see the outcomes.
Practice & Discussion (20 minutes): Students work on problems or group tasks. I circulate, guide, and encourage peer learning.
Wrap-up & Homework (5 minutes): I summarize key points and give short, purposeful homework like “Interview your grandparents about how they used to shop without technology and connect it to today’s marketing strategies.”
My Special Features as a Teacher
Relating lessons to everyday life: Students often say, “Now I know why we’re learning this!”
Interactive learning: I use games, debates, and role-play. For example, in a civics class, students might role-play as parliament members to pass a bill.
Personal attention: I track each student’s strengths and weaknesses. If someone struggles with writing, I’ll work with them one-on-one, showing simple tricks like breaking down essays into mind maps.
Motivation & mentoring: Beyond academics, I focus on building confidence. I share my own learning struggles and how I overcame them so students feel understood.
Who My Classes Are For
My teaching is flexible depending on the level:
School Children (Classes 6–12): Focus on building concepts with examples from their daily life.
College Students: More career-oriented, connecting theory to real-world applications—like linking economics lessons to start-ups they see in the news.
Adults/Lifelong Learners: Simplified, practical lessons—for example, teaching communication skills through workplace scenarios or helping parents understand modern education so they can support their kids.
