About Alex
My name is Alex and I study science and mechanical engineering at UNSW. I love maths and science but I also studied and loved English, French and history at school. Outside of school, I love reading, baking, doing puzzles and going for walks. I received an ATAR of 99.05 studying Maths Extension 1 and 2, English Advanced and Extension 1, Modern History and Chemistry. I spent my gap year as an au pair in Europe improving my French. I understand how struggling academics can be and I'd love to help high school students achieve to the best of their ability.

Everyone learns differently but preferably I'd have 45min-1hr with a student where they can bring me topics they are struggling through. I would explain it, do a worked problem together and then get them to do it independently which I can then review.
