About Rina

I’m a violin tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Strings, specializing in violin. I love working with adult beginners and those returning to the violin after a break. My teaching focuses on simple exercises and ergonomic positioning to help you play comfortably and avoid strain. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques to create a calm and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This helps reduce tension and makes practice feel rewarding. We explore a variety of genres, including Folk, Blues, Easy Classical pieces, and Worship music. My lessons are designed to fit your pace and goals, whether you want to play for fun or personal fulfillment. I believe everyone can rediscover the joy of violin playing, no matter where they start. Together, we’ll build confidence and skill in a relaxed, supportive environment. If you’re ready to enjoy the violin again or for the first time, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on building strong violin technique while encouraging emotional expression and performance confidence. I believe every student learns best through a balance of disciplined practice and creative exploration. We work on ear training to develop a sharp sense of pitch and musicality.

I emphasize proper posture, bow control, and finger placement to create a solid technical foundation. This helps students play with ease and avoid strain. For those passionate about performing—whether on stage or in a community setting—I guide them in connecting with the music deeply and sharing it confidently.

I tailor lessons to support singing with the violin, helping students complement vocal styles with their playing. Through rhythm exercises, expressive phrasing, and stage presence practice, I prepare students to shine in live settings.

My goal is to nurture both skill and artistry, so students feel inspired and capable. Each lesson is adapted to your needs and goals. Together, we build a strong musical voice that communicates emotion and joy.
