Academic Background & Achievements: I am a dedicated and accomplished third-year Accounting Science student at the University of Pretoria, maintaining a consistent academic average above 65% throughout my university career. My strong academic foundation was built in high school, where I graduated with seven distinctions and an impressive 88% average. My subject expertise includes Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Computer Applications Technology (CAT), and Information Technology (IT), equipping me with a well-rounded understanding of both numerical and technical disciplines. Leadership & Extracurricular Involvement: During my time at Midstream College, I served as a prefect, honing my leadership, communication, and mentorship skills. My passion for discipline and teamwork extended beyond the classroom—I was an active athlete in hockey, middle-distance running, and cross country, which taught me perseverance, time management, and the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Today, I continue to play hockey at the University of Pretoria, further demonstrating my commitment to excellence in both academics and extracurricular pursuits.

My Tutoring Philosophy & Lesson Offerings:

My approach to tutoring is rooted in patience, clarity, and a genuine commitment to each student's academic growth. I believe that conquering challenging subjects like Accounting and Mathematics is less about innate talent and more about having concepts explained in a way that resonates with the individual. I move beyond simply providing answers, focusing instead on building a robust foundational understanding that fosters long-term confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

What Makes My Approach Unique:

My uniqueness stems from my dual-perspective as a current high-achieving university student and a mentor. Having recently navigated the high school curriculum with seven distinctions, I intimately understand the syllabus, common pitfalls, and exam pressures. Simultaneously, my ongoing BCom Accounting Sciences degree ensures my knowledge is current and deeply applied. Furthermore, my experience in leadership as a prefect and in team sports has equipped me with exceptional skills in communication, motivation, and instilling the discipline necessary for academic success.

Language Proficiency:

I am fully proficient and able to teach all my subjects in both English and Afrikaans. Having studied my subjects in Afrikaans in high school and now in English at university, I can seamlessly explain complex concepts in either language, ensuring students learn in the environment most comfortable for them.
