About Norah

I am a passionate guitar teacher with over 11 years of experience teaching both in-person and online. I hold a degree in Music, specializing in guitar performance and pedagogy. My teaching philosophy focuses on expressive playing, technical fluency, and personalized instruction tailored to each student’s needs. I believe music is not just about notes, but about connection, creativity, and self-expression. I work with students of all levels — from beginners taking their first chords to advanced and professional players refining their artistry. My lessons incorporate music theory, fretboard fluency, rhythmic precision, and creative expression. I adapt my approach to match each student’s goals, whether it’s mastering a style, preparing for performance, or improving technique. I emphasize building a solid foundation while encouraging exploration and personal style. Through patient guidance and structured practice, I help students grow in skill and confidence. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation while encouraging creativity and passion for guitar. I work with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Lessons include classical fingerpicking, staff reading, hybrid picking techniques, and tonal control to develop both technical skill and musical expression. I also guide students in music theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation. I believe learning guitar should be inspiring and enjoyable. My style includes step-by-step demonstrations, practical exercises, and real-world playing examples. I encourage students to explore different genres and develop their unique style. For those aiming to perform or record professionally, I provide tailored guidance to refine their sound and stage presence. I support them in building confidence, technical mastery, and artistic expression. My goal is to help every student not only play but also truly love guitar.
