From a young age, Kathy demonstrated exceptional musical talent and an unwavering dedication to the piano. She honed her skills through intensive training and received her formal education in Master in Performance and Pedagogy course in Birmingham Conservatoire. This solid foundation equipped her with a thorough understanding of music theory, technique, and performance.
With a warm and patient demeanor, Kathy creates a nurturing environment that encourages students to explore their musical potential. She believes in tailoring lessons to each student's unique abilities, goals, and learning style. MMus in piano performance and pedagogy (Birmingham university)
Bachelor degree of classical music (UCSI college)
LTCL trinity, ATCL trinity
Grade 8 Piano ABRSM, Grade 8 Theory ABRSM

Welcome to my piano lessons!

Learning to play the piano is an incredibly rewarding experience, and I'm excited to guide you on this musical journey. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some previous experience, my lessons are tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.

During our lessons, we'll cover a wide range of topics to ensure a well-rounded musical education. Kathy is a patient and inspiring piano teacher. I began learning as a hobby without expecting a lot of progress. Fast forward 4 months later I am able to play my favourite songs on piano, be it pop song and some simple classical songs. I am also able to read piano scores and understand the basis of music theory better. This unlocks my potential in musical instrument and I now appreciate good music more thanks to Kathy.
