I'm Ethan Jacobsson, known as Ezra Hyte, a Los Angeles-based music producer and audio engineer. With over a decade of experience, I've crafted soundscapes for diverse projects, from music to TV, film, and video games. Let's create something amazing together!

About the lesson

My formal education in the art of Audio Science found its foundation at The Los Angeles Recording School, where I fine-tuned my skills and nurtured my unwavering passion for all things audio. The sprawling metropolis of Los Angeles became my canvas, offering me the opportunity to collaborate with extraordinary talents spanning a diverse spectrum of musical genres.

I embarked on my professional journey by closely working with the Latin Grammy-Nominated Engineer, Nando Costa, soaking in invaluable knowledge and practical experience. This apprenticeship set the stage for an exhilarating voyage of creating and engineering music that speaks to the heart.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to work within several world-class studios in the city, forging connections with artists who entrust me to bring their sonic visions to life. Building my own clientele has been an incredibly rewarding endeavor, as it allows me to connect with a wide array of exceptionally talented individuals.

One of my most thrilling achievements to date has been securing a feature with the UK artist "PYLOT" on his album 'AXIOM.' It's a testament to the collaborative spirit that propels me forward, and I'm ecstatic about the impact we've made together. I also had the pleasure of mixing and producing 'Skyline,' a single I co-wrote with the gifted singer-songwriter/producer "SOZI," who also calls LA home. Our creative synergy brought this track to life, and it's a project that holds a special place in my heart.

My passion for sound extends beyond music. I've ventured into the realms of T.V and Film, where I've lent my skills to on-set sound. You can find my name in the credits of the new series "The Quiet Games," directed by the exceptionally talented John Whoriskey Jr. Additionally, I was apart of the sound team for an independent film starring the incredible Affion Crockett, titled, "A Hip Hop Story." As a freelance boom operator in Los Angeles, I've had the privilege to collaborate with some of the best in the industry. Whether it's post-production for film, music production, or the captivating world of video games, I've dedicated myself to honing my listening skills over time. With a solid foundation and an ear fine-tuned to perfection, I'm here to make your project sound nothing short of amazing.

Whether if I'm behind the mixing console, on a film set, or in the heart of the music studio, I am steadfast in my pursuit of audio excellence. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the future and all the harmonious possibilities it holds.
