About Thalia
With 7 years of experience in Mathematics tutoring, I have helped learners build knowledge, improve academic performance, and overcome difficulties with challenging concepts. I teach students from K–12 to college first year and tailor every session according to their current understanding, curriculum, and learning objectives.
I believe successful Mathematics learning comes from developing genuine understanding and strong reasoning skills. Instead of simply providing answers, I guide students toward discovering solutions themselves. My lessons combine clear explanations, practical examples, guided exercises, and targeted problem-solving practice.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have supported students with fundamental Mathematics as well as more advanced areas including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, functions, and introductory calculus. I can also help students prepare for examinations, revise important topics, improve calculation accuracy, and build effective problem-solving strategies.
Every student learns differently, which is why I maintain a flexible and student-centered teaching style. I patiently identify learning gaps, clarify confusing ideas, and gradually increase the level of difficulty as confidence grows.
My objective is to make Mathematics less intimidating and more enjoyable. I want students to leave each lesson with clearer understanding, improved skills, and the confidence to approach mathematical questions independently.

My lessons provide personalized mathematics support for learners from primary and secondary school through the first year of college. I believe mathematics becomes much easier when students understand the ideas behind each formula, technique, and solution. That is why my teaching combines clear explanations, practical examples, active practice, and continuous feedback.
Before introducing a new topic, I identify the student’s existing knowledge and learning gaps. Lessons are then organized around specific objectives, whether the goal is improving classroom performance, strengthening fundamentals, preparing for tests, or mastering advanced concepts.
I can support students with topics such as number systems, algebra, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, sequences, functions, probability, statistics, limits, differentiation, integration, and other curriculum-based subjects. I adjust the difficulty and pace according to each learner’s needs.
During lessons, students are encouraged to solve problems independently while receiving guidance whenever they encounter difficulties. I also emphasize accuracy, reasoning, time management, and effective problem-solving techniques.
My aim is not simply to help students find answers, but to develop mathematical thinking they can apply to unfamiliar questions. With consistent practice and personalized instruction, students can strengthen their foundations, overcome challenges, and approach mathematics with greater confidence.
