I am a third year student at the University of Virginia. I took all IB classes in high school including up to French 6 and advanced Calculus. I have a hands on teaching methods that is specified to work on students personal needs in the subject. I typically teach the main topics of the subject and then more closely review specific material. I believe that practice and application of material with an instructor is very beneficial to increase quality of learning. My lesson plans include warm up activities to access a students skills followed by a more in depth teaching session, and then application of the learned material through critical thinking tests. I am unique as a tutor because I really value personalizing lesson plans, so a student can get the most benefit out of their sessions. I do lessons for specified classes (ex. algebra-calculus in math) as well as overall subject concepts.
