Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes):
Quick review of previous material or a brief activity to get the student thinking about math concepts.
Introduction to New Concept (10-15 minutes):
Explanation of the new topic using clear, simple language and visual aids.
Demonstration of key procedures and problem-solving strategies.
Guided Practice (15-20 minutes):
Students work on problems with my guidance, allowing them to apply the new concept while receiving immediate feedback and support.
Independent Practice (15-20 minutes):
Students work on problems independently to reinforce their understanding and build confidence. I monitor their progress and provide help as needed.
Review and Wrap-Up (5-10 minutes):
Summary of key points covered in the lesson.
Address any remaining questions and preview the next lesson or topic.
