About RAKU

I am a Master's student at the University of Toronto with a strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, and engineering. Throughout my studies, I have consistently relied on mathematical thinking to solve complex problems in data science, machine learning, and robotics.

I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps. I am patient, well-prepared, and believe that every student can improve with the right guidance and practice.

I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to each student's needs and pace. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and confidence that will benefit them long after the course is over.

About the lesson

I believe students learn mathematics best by understanding the ideas behind formulas rather than memorizing procedures. My goal is to build strong problem-solving skills and confidence through clear explanations and guided practice.

Every lesson is tailored to the student's level and goals. We begin by identifying challenging topics, review the underlying concepts, work through examples together, and then solve progressively more difficult problems. I encourage students to explain their reasoning so they develop a deeper understanding instead of relying on memorization.

As a master's student at the University of Toronto with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and data science, I have experience applying mathematical concepts to real-world engineering and machine learning problems. I can also help students prepare for quizzes, exams, and university coursework.

My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and first-year university students studying algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability, or statistics. Whether you need help improving your grades or preparing for advanced study, I will adapt each lesson to your individual learning style and goals.
