About Shagan
I am a University Of The Witwatersrand student studying Computer Science. I have been giving private lessons in Mathematics Science for Grade 10-12 for 2+ years.
I enjoy working with students to help them reach that light bulb moment as well as helping them learn to love Mathematics!

No two students are the same, so I believe in asking questions to find out more. After getting to know them and observing how they approach the problems, I provide guidance and tips/strategies on how to improve.
I make use of ICT devices and graphics to increase student engagement. As well as providing extra homework problems.
I do not believe in rote learning or studying using massive problem sets as students often develop resentment for the work this way. I believe in teaching more efficient study practices so that true mastery of concepts can be achieved.
