About Santiago
Hello dear reader!
My name is Santiago and I was once in the same situation that you or your child may find themselves in currently. For many students, literature and academic writing courses can prove difficult due to a lack of study techniques and reading habits that eventually take their toll on a student's performance. However, I endeavour to equip my students with the necessary tools that will aid them throughout their schooling and potentially become lifelong habits!

My teaching methodology utilizes evidence backed techniques that I myself use in my university studies. These include active recall techniques like the Feynman technique, time management skills like the pomodoro method, and a myriad of note taking approaches that students can mix and match to best suit their personal needs.
A typical lesson plan begins with an assessment of the student's usual approach to studying, followed by an accompanied session of coursework where the student uses the aforementioned methods to strengthen their understanding of the assigned coursework.
As a tutor I seek not only to improve student's scores but to teach them valuable study skills that will prove extremely helpful throughout their schooling and beyond.
Lessons are for students who require a fresh approach to tackling literature and creative/academic writing courses in middle and early high school
