About YanLing
I am a university student currently enrolled at UTSC. I have been privately taught piano for over ten years with different instructors. In addition, I was a member of Symphonic Band in high school for three years as a French Horn player.

The teaching I will provide will be individualized depending on the student and what he/she wishes to accomplish during our lessons. For instance, I may cover how to read elements of sheet music such as note reading, note values, dynamics, and tempo markings. I can also oversee piano playing virtually and advise students on tips or next steps towards improving his/her playing. I prioritize having a safe space for any beginners to show the fun of learning music.

Currently, this rate is set considering that all lessons will be held virtually. However, once COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, rates may vary depending on if the student wishes to change locations of our lessons (due to travel time).
