I am a university student and have received a grade 9 in both GCSE English language and literature. I have taught two students Macbeth and helped them both achieve grade 8s in their English literature exam and currently teaching another student to prepare her for her upcoming exams.

For English literature, I go through extracts and look for language/structural features with my students. I then show them my analysis and why its a model answer. We work together to create an analysis and look for themes and context within the extract. This method is also used when we look and work through poetry extracts.
