About Bushra

I am currently a university student studying Nursing BNurs Adult at the University of Birmingham. In my previous studies, I have studied Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) at GCSE level and achieved grade A for them all. Also, I have studied English Literature and Language at GCSE level and managed to achieve A/B. I have a passion for both Biology and English Literature which is why I continued to pursue them at A levels. Whilst undergoing my A-Levels I would tutor GCSE students in my local area in order to help them and help me pursue my passion for teaching.

About the lesson

My teaching method is simple and I believe to be effective. It consists of 3 stages. The first stage is whereby I deliver the content in a simple and easy way for the students to understand but also ensuring that I do not miss any of the key details. After this lesson, I give the students until the next lesson to go over what I have taught and come back with any questions or misconceptions they may have. In the second stage, I go over the content and clear/clarify any questions or confusion. Also in the duration of this lesson, I draw diagrams, give examples, show videos, and other resources to help my students remember the content, as I believe it is easier to recall information when you have made links to real-life or a tangible example. In the third stage I create exam-style questions for the students to attempt. I first go over the marks they can achieve for most questions and how to approach each type of question (whether that be a 4 marker, 6 markers or state, explain or analyse question). after going through this we will attempt a few questions together to ensure that they know how to approach the question in the most effective way. during this lesson, they will be given a set of questions to complete and the questions remaining after the lesson will be set as homework. I will mark and grade each question the way an examiner would so that they are able to get effective feedback which will help them when it comes to the real exam. alongside this, I will provide my very own resources available for them and assess their knowledge monthly after each topic is complete with a practice exam. Also, my email is available to the students who can email me whenever they need extra support, need more resources, clarification, or anything else and I try my hardest to respond back to them within 1-2 hours after receiving the email.

Cancellation policy, if you wish to cancel a pre-booked lesson you have to email and contact me 24 hrs before that lesson starts in order for me to cancel the lesson. If you do not, you will be still charged with the price of that lesson.
