About Julia

I am a university student at McMaster University who has been tutoring since middle school. I am seeking a degree in Sciences and have been excelling in AP mathematics since grade nine! I participated in many math competitions in grade twelve and want to share some of my knowledge.

About the lesson

I am looking for students who want to learn! When I was in high school, my favourite teachers were attentive and caring, so I follow the same philosophy. My passion and drive for my students' success make me special as a tutor. My typical class starts with a warm-up activity that relates to the previous classes' lesson. After, I tend to go through the lesson while taking questions and making sure every student is on the same page. I leave lots of time for practice questions and feedback!

As Julia’s grade 12 English teacher, I can assure you, this girl’s got style...and content. Julia has a strong command of the language, a keen insight into the workings of complex texts, and a patient demeanour. Her presentation style is mature and sophisticated, but accessible and fun. Trust me, she’s got your back.
