Hi there! My name is Aleja, you can call me Ally if it’s easier to say!
I’d love to work with you and help you understand maths better. I know it can be challenging sometimes but it isn’t impossible! I hope I can help you learn some new things and maybe make maths classes seem a little less scary.

Patience is key, maths can be very difficult for some children to understand and every child has a different way of learning. I would first ask to see some of their homework or what they’re working on at school and from there create worksheets or find worksheets that are appropriate for the skill level of your child. I would then work to better understand the way your child learns best. They may need visual aid, or learn best with physical objects such as math blocks.
Once they understand the basics,I hope they grow to understand that maths might be hard but not impossible to learn.
