About Archanaa
I have been tutoring high school students in Mathematics since 2019 and have taught students from grades 8 to 12. However, I am only a part time tutor so I don't take on too many students at a time but that means that I am able to put in more attention for my current students. I am currently tutoring 3 students in grades 8, 10 and 11.
I am a third year engineering student studying chemical and environmental engineering. I have studied Maths B and C in high school.
The math courses I have completed at UQ are:
MATH1051 Calculus and Linear Algebra I
MATH1052 Multivariate Calculus & ODEs
MATH2000 Calculus and Linear Algebra II
I also have a valid blue card to work with students under 18.

My teaching methodology is focusing on the students weakness n building a good maths understanding and foundation of the basics before approaching harder problems. When it comes to maths, it is important to understand n practise the difficult problems so we will be doing a lot of practise that will help students prepare for their exams. I will also take into account the students preferred method of studying as I understand that different students respond to different teaching methods.
