About Antonio

I've spent my life collecting languages, skills, and, at one point, other people's skin as a canvas. Former tattoo artist, guitar player, literary novelist, and university professor: if there's a throughline, it's that I've never been able to stop at just one thing.

I hold a Master's in Foreign Languages & Literature and have been teaching Italian, Spanish, and French at universities across New York City since 2010. But long before the lecture halls, I was etching permanent art onto people who trusted me with a needle, which, honestly, is excellent preparation for teaching. Both require precision, patience, and reading your audience very quickly.

I have a deep love for all forms of art, music, literature, visual art, and I bring that sensibility into every lesson. Languages aren't just grammar rules. They're living, breathing things, and I'll make sure you feel that.

Whether you're 13 or 30, neurotypical or neurodivergent, panicking before an exam or just curious about a new language, I've got sixteen years of experience, a library of materials, and a guitar in the corner to prove I know how to make things click.

About the lesson

I'm not just a tutor... I'm a university professor who has spent over sixteen years in the classroom and one-on-one with students of every age and background. That means I don't guess at what works: I know.

What sets me apart:

Academic depth, human approach. My MA in Foreign Languages & Literature gives me expertise most tutors simply don't have — but I deliver it in plain, engaging language anyone can follow.

1) I adapt to you. Whether you're a middle schooler just finding your footing, a high schooler under exam pressure, or a neurodivergent learner who needs a different angle. I adjust my method, not the other way around!

2) I'm a native-level English speaker who also teaches Italian, Spanish, and French. Bilingual explanations available.

3) Fully online and ready to go. I have a library of materials built over sixteen years — no wasted time, no improvisation.

4). I'm also a writer. Understanding language from the inside: how it's crafted, not just how it's corrected — makes me a stronger teacher.
