About Sesihle
My name is Sihle and I’m a South African music educator, Singer and Songwriter. I play the Piano and Guitar.
I studied music education because singing was one of the things that I loved doing growing up as a kid but I struggled to get the educational background of music because there weren’t many tutors offering the option.
So I took it upon myself, to learn this and to be able to do what I enjoy and also express my creativity in creating my own music while availing the sam e opportunities to other music lovers like me.

I believe that learning should always be fun and educational, Therefore I strive to ensure that my classroom offers a free space to make learning relaxed and enjoyable.
What I Offer:
I offer Music education lessons in Music reading, Notation, Composition, basic Keyboard playing and Singing to students from beginners to grade 6 music Theory. All students are welcome. I also offer worksheets and learning support materials for the students. I do exam preparations using past papers in ABRSM and UNISA.
My Teaching methodology:
I use the Learner centred teaching method where the lesson is focused on student interaction rather than the “Preaching Teacher”.
What to expect in my classroom
My Lessons are a free learning space where there are no wrong answers just learning opportunities. Curious minds are always welcome.
At the beginning of my lessons I engage with the student to asses prior knowledge before introducing anything new. By the means of questioning or games or even just general conversation.
I then introduce a new aspect using relevant ice breakers and relevant learner Support Materials (if needed).
