About Anders
I am a graduated high school student currently on gap year before attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. My tutoring experience comes through NHS at my school, where I'd tutor younger students in any math subject, and through a nonprofit called JaxThrive, where I'd tutor elementary-age refugees in my community in math and English. I've also been a counselor at a summer camp in North Carolina for the past 2 years, so I have a great background in working with younger kids.

I am able to change my approach based on the student I am tutoring. If they need constant practice to reinforce every concept, I provide practice problems and lots of examples. If they learn quick, but are a visual learner, I will do many demonstrations and make difficult concepts seem real through applications to things they know.
