About Waseem
I am a Senior Research Software Engineer and Research Data Integration Lead at the University of Oxford with over 18 years of experience in software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and healthcare research.
My work focuses on developing genomic data pipelines, clinical research platforms, machine learning solutions, and research software supporting cancer and translational medicine projects. Prior to Oxford, I spent over 12 years at a leading medical research institution, contributing to AI-driven healthcare research, bioinformatics platforms, and large-scale software systems.
I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, professional certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Project Management (PMP), and have published research in machine learning and medical imaging.
