About Edward
I am a student at the University of Oxford, where I research seventeenth-century English and transnational naval history. My specialism is in the discipline of shipbuilding, but I also research seventeenth-century numismatics. I began this area of research at the University of St Andrews as an undergraduate and will be continuing it within a DPhil.
I do academia part-time, though, as I am a trainee solicitor in corporate law full-time. I start work as a solicitor in September 2025.
