About Ahmed

Hi! My name is Ahmed. I’m 20 years old and currently a mathematics student at the Faculty of Science. I was born in the U.S. but have lived most of my life in Egypt. Since my early university days, I’ve discovered a true passion for teaching — especially when it comes to helping others finally understand topics they’ve been struggling with. I’ve spent a lot of time explaining math to classmates and even to students from other majors, like biology, who were struggling with topics such as derivatives. The best part for me is always seeing that moment when something finally clicks. That’s what made me realize that teaching is what I want to do. I’m friendly, patient, and always focused on making sure students feel comfortable and supported. Whether you're just starting out in math or need help with more advanced topics like calculus, I’m here to help you learn with confidence.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my goal is to make math feel clear, logical, and even enjoyable — especially for students who think they’re “just not good at it.” I explain concepts in simple language, step by step, and I don’t move on until I’m sure the student truly understands. I also use examples from real life or other subjects to make abstract topics easier to relate to.

In a typical lesson, we start by reviewing any areas the student is struggling with. Then, I break the topic down, explain the key ideas, and solve problems together — first as a team, then gradually encouraging the student to try on their own with my support. I focus heavily on building confidence and understanding, not just memorizing formulas.

What sets me apart is that I’m still a student myself, so I remember clearly how it feels to be confused or overwhelmed by math. I’ve helped classmates and even students from other majors (like biology) who had a hard time with math, and they finally understood it after my explanations. That personal connection makes a big difference.

My lessons are great for high school students, first-year university students, or anyone who wants help with core math topics like algebra, calculus, and especially derivatives. Whether you’re preparing for exams or just need someone to explain things clearly, I’m here to help!
