About Igor

Hi, I’m Igor and I’ve been programming since I was 9 years old. I am not limiting myself to one programming language and can teach you most of the mainstream programming languages including Java, C, Python, PHP, JavaScript (Node.js + TypeScript), Arduino and others. I believe that programming is not about learning syntax, but understanding underlying theoretical concepts and its logic, which makes it easy to learn new programming languages in the future. I acquired several years of lecturing experience while working at Middlesex University. I am able to organise sessions in English as well as Polish depending on your preference. I currently work as a Staff Software Engineer and in my day-to-day duties, I focus on coaching and embracing the best programming standards. My expertise includes: - Computer programming (JavaScript, C# .NET, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, Java and others) - Server management (Linux/Windows, VMware Virtualisation) - Databases (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) - Amazon AWS - Web development - Mobile development Please get in touch with me if you should have any questions :)

About the lesson

I am looking forward to sharing my experience and knowledge in computer programming with anyone who wants to improve their programming skills (at any level). I strongly believe in practice-based learning supported by underlying theory. I also believe that programming is not about memorising syntax, but understanding its logic. This way, learning other programming languages will be a matter of a few days.

Perfect! Igor is an absolutely fantastic teacher. He is extremely knowledgable, very patient, and explains things incredibly clearly. Igor is a very focused and passionate tutor, highly professional in his fields of interest with a great ability to explain complex scenarios with ease and in great detail with lots of examples. His ability to break down larger problems into smaller tasks were particularly helpful , he also helped to ensure code efficiency, correct notation and style. During our lessons he was always easy to talk to and very friendly and it was easy to ask him questions without feeling judged. I am really grateful for the amazing help he provided and I would highly recommend him!
