About Claudia
As a university major with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I have always had a strong passion for literature, and for a good story.
This passion led me down a rabbit hole of analyzing everything I read, from novels, to plays, to essays, to even textbooks. Why does one piece of text have the capacity to grip me, and another bores me? Why are some textbooks easy to follow, and some seem so confusing? Why do I want to agree with this essayist, but not this one? Why, why, why?
Naturally, I always loved English class, where we would tackle some of these questions. And from my curiosity, I learned what makes good writing “good.” I learned how to make a point, and have my reader want to agree with me. I learned how to format my words in a way that is easy to follow and digest. And I learned to love doing it.
And now I hope to instill the same curiosity and love I once had for English class with you!
