About Shay-Lynn
Hi! I am Shay-Lynn!
I am a recent University graduate in Ontario. I have been teaching with 2 school boards over the last two years while completing my final practicum placements.
I have taught all types of learners (varying styles of learning and needs) as well as all grades (1-12) in varying subject matter.
My areas of expertise are English/Literacy and Social Studies for middle school and high school students.
Being a teacher is my calling and my students are always my first priority. I look forward to meeting you as we strive to build skills that can be applied to school settings and real life scenarios.

I am a recent graduate from Nipissing University and am currently a certified teacher through the Ontario College of Teachers. I have experiences with students in all grades and varying subject matter.
Working with students one-on-one as well as in large groups has given me the opportunity to meet all different and unique types of learners with differing abilities and needs. It is my goal to create a welcoming environment for all students as well as tailor to their learning needs so that they succeed in and out of the classroom.
I look forward to helping with you or your students homework, reviewing work, or building lessons to help strengthen skills.
