About Ayush
I study Mathematics at the University of Glasgow. I love solving problems and helping people learn Maths. I finished Maths and Further Maths at A-level. I have a solid base in maths ideas and I like trying many ways to solve problems.
I know that every student has strengths and weaknesses and learns in their own way so tutoring should not be the same for everyone. I promise to change my teaching to fit each student whether that means going over ideas again, tackling hard questions or practising exam skills. I want to build a friendly space where students feel safe to ask questions, learn from errors and move forward at their own speed.
In the end, I want every student to grow their maths skills and to feel confident solving problems on their own.

My approach to tutoring is focused on learning through practice and helping students build their problem-solving skills. I encourage students to try questions on their first and work through problems by themselves. I only step in with hints, guidance or explanations when they really need it. I believe this way of teaching helps students gain confidence, understand concepts deeply and become better at handling unfamiliar questions on their own. My lessons mix explanations with plenty of practice questions and I always tailor the content to fit what each student is good at and where they need to improve.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. This gives time to go over important ideas, work through practice questions and sort out any confusion or trouble spots.
I have a background in Mathematics. I studied Maths and Further Maths at A-level. I am currently studying Mathematics at university. Working through maths problems has taught me how to break things down into clear logical steps. This helps me guide students in a way when solving problems.
I teach GCSE and A-level Maths. I adjust how I teach to match each student’s ability, goals and how fast they learn. Whether a student wants to build a foundation, improve their exam technique or aim for top grades, I try to make sure they feel supported. My goal is to help them grow in confidence and make progress in Maths.
