About Arun
As a student of French since I was 11, I have experienced French teaching of all levels and qualities. While I have a deep love for the language and the culture behind it, I have often been frustrated by a lack of the personalisation to my needs in French that I have always felt would be what I needed to truly flourish in the language.
For my students, I aim to provide that degree of personalisation - by tailoring lessons to your needs and creating an easy and informal space in which to practise with the language, I hope to be able to give students the confidence and fluidity in French they need to truly succeed at learning it.

Bonjour! I'm Arun, a first year University of Glasgow French student who holds a 7 in International Baccalaureate Higher French, equivalent to a very high A-Level or Advanced Higher grade.
As a learner myself, I want to provide everything I feel I missed out on when learning French, like an informal space to practise (and make mistakes!) in reading, writing, listening and speaking, tips and tricks on how to master grammar and vocabulary and insights on how to achieve passive learning through cultural exposure.
As your tutor I would aim to provide sessions of 1 to 2 hours, each with a specific focus tailored to your needs. I am happy to work online or in person and am based in Glasgow with a highly flexible schedule. My lessons are aimed at students studying French at GCSE or Scottish Highers.
