About Londeka
I am a second year commerce law student at the University of Pretoria. I am very passionate about commerce related subjects, in particular, accounting. I did Accounting in high school and it was my favourite subject because I had an amazing teacher. She taught me all that I needed to know and more.
I would love to be that person for these students.
I am very dedicated, patient and understanding. I would consider myself as a hard worker who does not settle for mediocrity. I am certain that I would do the best that I can in insisting these students with their needs.
In high school, I was the chairperson of the after-school tutoring program. Therefore, I do have some experience in tutoring students.

Accounting is a practical subject that requires mostly practice and understanding. In my lessons, I aim to reteach a particular section for additional understanding and thereafter light testing, either verbally (through flash cards when rules or concepts are concerned) or with a practical example of what the student has just learnt (through practice exercise questions or potential school exam questions). I believe that it is important that a student remembers and understands their work thoroughly. I will not assign homework on a regular basis as they may be overwhelmed with work from school already.
I also believe that younger students work harder or are more motivated when a reward system is involved. At the end of each month, I will award a student with a gift voucher if we reach a target mark (for example; achieving 5% more in tests etc.)
