About Ambareen

I have always enjoyed people-facing roles, and have worked as a Student Ambassador at school and university as a result. I am passionate about sharing knowledge, and ensuring I can not only yield success for myself, but also allow others to understand how I did this. I consider myself a hard-working individual, and will do my best to support you in doing your very best!

About the lesson

I have just finished my final year studying Law at the University of Bristol, which has helped me gain a range of critical analysis skills. I believe this, combined with my experience studying A-Level English Literature, makes me qualified to assist you with a range of tasks! I am a positive individual, who wants to help you succeed!

I am a strong essay-writer, with a High Commendation in a previous essay competition, as well as having experience writing essays that are university-level. I have also written articles for school and university magazines, showcasing my transactional writing skills. In addition, I really enjoy creative writing, with one of my poems being published in a national anthology!

I am happy to work with students aged 11-18 who require assistance in the following:
-Essay writing
-Understanding what the examiner wants from your answer
-General exam preparation & revision tips to ensure you achieve the top grades
-Essay marking and reviewing
-Revision on a variety of texts (I have personally studied The Bloody Chamber, Frankenstein, Dracula, Hamlet, Macbeth, Relationships Anthology (Edexcel GCSE), and Rossetti poetry, but am happy to adapt to the texts you are learning)
-Assistance with preparation for the English Language GCSE (AQA/Edexcel)
-Assistance writing a university personal statement
-If needed, I am also able to assist with History (9 at GCSE/A* at A-Level)
