As a passionate educator and lifelong learner, I am dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential and achieve academic success. My journey in education began at St. Andrews University, where I pursued my passion for English literature and language.

With a background in tutoring gained through Kumon, I have gained invaluable experience that has equipped me with a diverse set of teaching skills and strategies, allowing me to tailor lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.

With a deep understanding of the Scottish education system, I am well-versed in the curriculum requirements for National 5 and Higher English. My goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to instill in them a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom.

In my free time, you can often find me immersed in a good book, exploring nature, or discovering new ways to engage and inspire my students.

About the lesson

Learning should be exciting and tailored to each individual's needs. My approach focuses on making lessons interactive, utilising multimedia resources, and incorporating real-life examples to make concepts relatable and memorable. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore their interests, and actively participate in their learning journey.

Each session would typically last between 40 minutes to one hour, ensuring that students can fully engage with the material without feeling overwhelmed.

As a graduate of St. Andrews University and with experience tutoring through Kumon, I bring academic expertise and practical teaching experience to every lesson. My background in English literature and language equips me to provide comprehensive support across various levels. In addition, my familiarity with the Scottish education system enables me to offer tailored guidance to students navigating exams at National 5 and Higher levels.
