About Maxwell
I am an officer in the United States Navy Reserve and former mid-level executive at Amazon and other start-up companies throughout the valley.
My undergraduate degree is in Quantitative Economics with my master's degree being in Engineering Management. I have received a Prospective Nuclear Engineer Officer certification through the Department of the Navy and have also focused and worked with Nuclear Theory and Propulsion.
My goal through tutoring is to make your child understand practical mathematical concepts, share best practices when preparing for exams or colleges, and provide mentorship as children grow to young adults.

I help students build real confidence in math by breaking difficult problems into clear, repeatable steps. My lessons are structured, patient, and focused on understanding, not memorization. I start by identifying gaps, review the core concept, work through guided examples, then finish with independent practice so the student can prove they can do it on their own.
I tutor middle school, high school, and early college students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-3, Precalculus, and Calculus 1-3.
I am a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and Navy Officer, and I bring a disciplined, encouraging, results-focused approach to every session. Parents can expect clear communication, targeted practice, and a plan to help their student improve grades, test performance, and confidence.
